The Special Programme for the Reduction of Indebtedness to the State

On October 06th it was approved by the Council of Ministers the Special Programme of the Reduction of Indebtedness to the State (PERES) for those who have tax debts or social security debts that have not been payed within the deadline set (until 31, May of 2016 to the tax debts and 31, December of 2015 to the social security debts).

Through this programme, the defaulting debtor might pay the full debt amount without interests, until the end of the current year, or to adhere to an instalment payment plan, with a maximum duration of 11 years, without being necessary to provided guarantees.
