Maria Campilho joins CTSU as Of Counsel

The law firm CTSU, the Deloitte Legal practice in Portugal, has just reinforced its M&A and Capital Markets team with the arrival of Maria Campilho, who will act as Of Counsel in the firm.

With more than 25 years of professional experience, Maria Campilho has developed her professional activity predominantly in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, corporate governance, banking and financial insurance, advising on the acquisition and disposal of companies, national and cross-border, in the context of privatizations or private equity fund investments.

Maria Campilho was a member of the cabinet of the Secretary of State for Finance of the XIX Constitutional Government, providing legal advice in the areas of its competence, among which are the regulation of the financial sector, the supervision of the entities of the State business sector that operate in the financial sector, privatizations and concessions. She was also a consultant for the World Bank in the area of Trade and Competitiveness.

Maria has a degree in Law from Universidade Católica and a LL.M. in Banking and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 1996.
